Returns Policy We hope that you are delighted with your order. However, if for any reason you are not entirely satisfied, you may return any item in its original condition for a refund within 14 working days from delivery provided that you tell us within seven working days after the day on which you received the products that you intend to return the item.

If the items listed on the delivery note do not match those contained in your package, please notify us immediately by calling us on 01491 638 184 between 9am and 6pm, Monday to Friday or email us.

We accept no liability if you return goods by any method other than a recorded delivery method (one that requires a signature upon receipt). In any event, we accept no liability in respect of returned goods unless and until such returned goods have been received by us in their original condition and in their original packaging. Please make sure that the returned package is properly secured and that you have enclosed the necessary returns documentation.

You are entitled to reject the goods owing to defects in the goods or owing to incomplete or incorrect delivery and we will refund you: the price you paid for the goods which you have returned to us (inclusive of the initial delivery charge); and the return recorded delivery costs for the return carriage of the goods from the original delivery point to us (provided that you enclose a valid till receipt indicating such return recorded delivery costs).

If you return goods for reasons other than defects in the goods or incomplete or incorrect delivery, then we will refund you the price you paid for the goods which you have returned to us (exclusive of the initial delivery charge), but we will not refund the return recorded delivery costs for the return carriage of the goods from the original delivery point to us.

Please note that we cannot accept returns for made-to-measure orders or goods that we reasonably believe have been used. In such circumstances, no refund will be available. You will be responsible for arranging for such goods to be returned to you within 28 days of our notification to you that we will not process a refund in respect of such goods.

We will make the appropriate refund when we have received the returned goods or when required by the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000, whichever is sooner. We will refund such sums by crediting your credit/debit card (as applicable).

If you cancel your order but do not return such goods to us within 14 working days we shall be entitled to recover such goods from you and to charge you for the direct costs of recovering such goods. You should note that these charges (which may be deducted from any refund) could be greater than the cost of you returning the goods to us and may exceed the price you have paid for the goods. Until such goods are restored to us, you are obliged to exercise all reasonable care to store the cancelled goods safely and in appropriate conditions.

We will process the applicable refund and notify you by email when your refund has been processed. Your statutory rights remain unaffected.

Making A Purchase Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our store, and add any items that you wish to buy into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on 'Checkout' and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to complete the order.

We accept card payments. If you are shopping from North America or anywhere else, place your order and your card company will convert the transaction to US Dollars or your own currency.

We accept Visa and MasterCard.If you do not wish to pay online, you may send your card information via phone or by post. We also accept bank transfers (BACS).

We validate your order and the payment card details you submit to us before your order can be accepted. We will send you a confirmation email and provide delivery information.

You may also use PayPal to make a payment, either for standard stock products ordered via the website or if you are making a custom purchase a PayPal Invoice can be sent.

We deliver your order right away. We will normally dispatch your order to you in 2 - 3 business days. International orders are generally received in under 10 days.

You must inform us within two working days if the goods are lost or damaged in transit so that we can make a prompt claim against the delivery company and correct the problem. Please quote your order number in all correspondence.

You agree that proof of delivery supplied by our delivery company is sufficient evidence to establish that goods have been received.

Back Orders If your item is not in stock, we will back order for you. You will always be emailed with the option to cancel your order if you would rather not wait.
Tax Charges For orders made from the UK or the European Union, 20% VAT is included in the price. All other orders are VAT free. Orders outside EU may be subject to local taxes and import duties for which the customer will be liable.
Credit Card Security We work closely with our trusted partner WorldPay to ensure that all your personal and payment details are kept safe. All your payment details are encrypted and therefore protected as they travel over the Internet. You will see the reassuring Golden Padlock when you get to the Card Payment Page.

Privacy Policy We ask for personal details such as telephone number and email address so that we can contact you in case there is a problem with your order (with delivery for example) or so that we can respond to your queries typically regarding made-to-measure tablecloths and sheets. We may also contact existing customers through email with special Purple & Fine Linen offers and information.

We do not disclose buyers' information to third parties other than when order details are processed as part of the order fulfilment. In this case, the third party will not disclose any of the details to any other third party.

Purple & Fine Linen will protect your personal data. You can remove your email address from our mailing lists at any time. We will not sell this information to any third parties or redistribute it in any way. Personal data is gathered and stored in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998 UK.
