Bitcoin and Ether ETFs Experience Outflows Solana ETFs Attract Inflows
On February 23, Bitcoin exchange-traded funds ETFs faced significant outflows, totaling 204 million, while Ether funds saw a decrease of 49 million. In contrast, Solana ETFs attracted new investments, bringing in 8 million.
The week began with a notable shift as spot Bitcoin ETFs returned to negative territory after a brief stabilization. The majority of the outflows were from Blackrock s IBIT, which experienced a withdrawal of 116.44 million. Other major funds also reported losses: Bitwise s BITB lost 43.58 million, Fidelity s FBTC saw 27.93 million exit, Grayscale s GBTC shed 13.06 million, and ARK & 21Shares ARKB declined by 9.16 million. Despite Vaneck s HODL attracting 6.35 million in inflows, it was insufficient to counter the overall downturn.
Ether ETFs reflected a similar risk-off sentiment, with 49.48 million in net outflows, primarily driven by Blackrock s ETHA which had 45.38 million in redemptions. Vaneck s ETHV and Fidelity s FETH also experienced losses. Total trading volume for Ether ETFs was 724.49 million, and net assets fell to 10.46 billion.
